Catalytic Converter Thefts Continue In Oak Creek: Report

A camper owned by the Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps had its catalytic converter removed overnight.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek are reporting another incident involving a catalytic converter that had been cut from the exhaust system of a vehicle overnight.

According to police reports, officers responded to Hanna Trailers on the 7500 block of S. Howell Ave. on a report of a catalytic converter that had been cut from a camper owned by the Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps.

According to reports, the owner brought the trailer into Hannah Trailer on Aug. 17 at about 9:30 a.m. and parked it on the south side of teh building. By the time the vehicle was checked over on Aug. 23, mechanics informed the owner that the vehicle's catalytic converter had been cut off.

According to reports, the owner of Hanna Trailer said the man's vehicle was the only one in the lot whose catalytic converter had been cut off.
