Celebrity Judges to Decide Georgie Porgie's Burger Contest Thursday in Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — Long-time Oak Creek business, Georgie Porgie's Oak Creek, is celebrating the opening of their new expansion, Georgie's Garage, as well as their annual burger contest this Thursday, May 25 beginning at 11:30 am.

All are welcome . . . and everyone will be able to sample the five sandwiches competing in this year's burger contest!

The Finalists

1. The Brunah Burger – Sirloin Patty topped with Bacon, Fried Egg, Avocado, Chipotle Cream Cheese & Hash Browns served on a pretzel bun
2. The Pudgie Porker – Pulled Pork topped with Cheese Curds, Deep Fried Pickle Chips and Barbeque Sauce served on a pretzel bun
3. The Taco Dip Burger - Taco dip (cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning), cheese, lettuce, black olives, tomatoes and onions served on a white bun
4. Teriyaki Tom – Turkey Burger topped with Teryaki sauce, shredded bok choy, pineapple slice and grated sweet red peppers served on a white bun.
5. Tots of Love – Sirloin Patty topped Tater tots, onion straws, cheddar cheese, bacon bits and our homemade ranch dressing served on Texas Toast.

On Thursday, May 25 at 11:30 a.m. On Thursday, May 25 a panel of local celebrity judges will vote on their favorite burger at the Oak Creek restaurant 9555 S. Howell Ave.

The winning burger will be featured in our restaurants during the month of June. Celebrity judges include Ed Sedar & Marcus Hanel of the Milwaukee Brewers, Brian Kramp of Fox 6’s Real Milwaukee, On Milwaukee’s Lori Fredrich and WISN 12 Meteorologist Lindsey Slater
