Chamber Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The South Suburban Chamber of Commerce will formally mark its 10th anniversary with a celebration Thursday night.

The Business Appreciation event at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, 10101 S. 27th St., will include city updates from Mayors Dick Bolender of Oak Creek and Tom Taylor of Franklin.

The organization, formerly called the Southeastern Chamber United in Business, combined the Oak Creek and Franklin chambers of commerce in 2001.

Since 2007, it has been known as the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce. detailing the history of the chamber and an overview of what the organization does.
