Children Tell Dad To Call Police on OWI Mom

Oak Creek police took the mother of two children into custody after one called dad to report that she was drinking and behind the wheel.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police took the mother of two children into custody after one of them called dad to report that she was drinking and behind the wheel.

According to police reports, Oak Creek police pulled over the car she was driving with her 11-year-old and 12-year-old sons inside near the 2000 block of W. Rawson Ave. on Oct. 1.

Reports indicated that one of the sons called the father - who was in northern Illinois at the time - stating that their mother had been drinking. The father relayed the message to local police, who located the mother's vehicle and pulled them over in Oak Creek.

When police pulled the mother and two sons over, police reported that the woman registered a .20 on an intoximeter test, reports stated. She was taken into custody, and issued a citation for operating while intoxicated-second offense with a passenger under 16 years of age.
