City Librarian Retires After 35-Year Career
Talis began in 1975 as a part-time library aide.

Long-time Oak Creek City Librarian Ross Talis is retiring after a career spanning more than 35 years.
Talis began on Feb. 14, 1975 as a part-time library aide. He was appointed a full-time assistant to the city librarian in May of that year, and became city librarian in 1989.
The Common Council is honoring Talis with a resolution of appreciation at its meeting tonight.
