Man Crashes Into Police Car, Found With Heroin, Cocaine: Report
A man crashed into a police squad car after his brakes failed, only to have police later find cocaine and heroin in his car, reports say.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 7800 block of S. Pennsylvania Ave. just after 4 p.m. on May 19 after they say a South Milwaukee man collided with an Oak Creek police squad car.
According to police reports, an officer was driving south on the 7300 block of S. Pennylvania Ave. when his squad was struck by a vehicle driven by Richard H. Conklin of South Milwaukee. Conklin told police his brakes were not working, and a towing company later confirmed that Conklin's brakes had failed.
According to reports, Conklin didn't stop once he struck the police squad and was not listening to police commands to exit the vehicle following the collision.

Reports indicated that officers had police K9 Nox bark at Conklin in order to convince him to exit his own vehicle. Once Conklin exited the vehicle, police said that Nox - a drug-sniffing dog - indicated that there might be drugs inside the vehicle.
During the course of the traffic stop, police reports indicated that a search of the vehicle resulted in police finding .03 grams of crack cocaine and .03 grams of heroin.

Reports stated that Conklin was arrested on suspicion of heroin possession and cocaine possession.
