Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast #CodeGirl Event on June 29

Become a code sister! At #CodeGirl, girls in grades K-8 receive an introduction to computer coding in a fun and interactive way!

Have you ever wondered what makes your favorite characters move, jump or run through the games you play on your computer or TV? Join the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast in learning what’s behind the magic and become a Code Sister by exploring the hidden world of computer programming.

Learn how to use computer language, called code, to run a video game. In this game an angry bird is trying to catch a naughty pig that is stealing eggs. Can you teach the bird how to go through the maze to catch the pig? Of course you can! Once you do you will challenge your Girl Scout friends to a game or two.

Join us at #CodeGirl on June 29 from 6-7:45 p.m. at the Cudahy Library (3500 Library Dr., Cudahy). This event is open to girls grades K-8 and costs $3. Register online here or print off a form and mail it in by June 25.
