Company To Build 50,000 Sq. Ft. Headquarters in Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — Manufacturer Zund America is moving its headquarters to Oak Creek, and is expected to build a 50,000 square foot building.

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, the company, which specializes in high-tech cutting machines, will also bring at least 600 hotel room nights a year with visitors that will come to Oak Creek for a variety of business purposes including demonstrations, training or service work.

According to the Business Journal, the approximately $900,000 would be available through a city tax incremental financing district, repaid by taxes generated by $8 million in new property value Zund’s headquarters will create.
