Construction Thefts Reported On 27th Street Site: Report

Officers were called to a construction site on the 11000 block of S. 27th Street just after noon on July 23 on a report of a theft.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police are investigating a construction materials theft that was reported on S. 27th Street this week.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were called to a construction site on the 11000 block of S. 27th Street just after noon on July 23 on a report of a theft.

Police say the construction superintendent told the officer that a burglar entered the property sometime between 4 p.m. on July 22 and 5:30 a.m. on July 23, and stole a Stihl 12-inch gas-powered chop saw and a Dolmar 12-inch gas-powered chop saw, each of which is valued at about $800.

The superintendent said a burglar also stole a half-inch cordless Milwaukee impact wrench and three Milwaukee-brand battery chargers and four lithium batteries.

Police say the burglar entered a trailer, gang boxes and an office to steal the items. Police are continuing to investigate the burglary case.
