OAK CREEK, WI — A husband and wife were both arrested for OWI after the wife drove up to her husband's OWI stop, only to get arrested herself.
Oak Creek police responded to a one-vehicle accident involving a motorcyclist and its driver, who was found on the scene standing in the roadway just before 7 p.m. on July 21 near the intersection of S. 27th St. and W. Puetz Rd.
According to police reports, the driver of the motorcycle was put through field sobriety tests and registered a 0.17 blood alcohol concentration on a preliminary breath test.

As police were on the scene with the motorcycle driver, his wife reportedly pulled up to them at the scene.
When police spoke to the man's wife, they noted that she too showed signs of physical impairment due to possible alcohol consumption.

The woman was administered field sobriety tests, after which, she was arrested on OWI-1st.
Both the motorcycle and car were towed from the scene as both parties were transported to the police department for booking.
