Daughter Runs From Suspicious Van At Bus Stop
Police said a parent called them after her daughter had an encounter with a white van while the girl was walking to her bus stop.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 2500 block of W. Hilltop Lane on Sep. 22 for a report of suspicious activity.
According to police reports, a parent called police after her daughter had an encounter with a white van while the girl was walking to her bus stop.
Reports indicate that a white van began to slowly follow her and beep at her. Police described the van as a newer-model white sprinter van. It was smaller in size with no rear windows and an unknown green logo on the side.

According to reports, the suspect was described as a man in his 40s with oval-shaped sunglasses and wearing a gray T-shirt.
According to police, the daughter ran down the hill and boarded the bus to avoid confrontation with the suspect. No license plate IDs were obtained, but neighbors in the area reported seeing different-model suspicious white vans in the area between 7-7:10 a.m. while children were waiting for the bus.
