Day Care Car Crash Leads To Arrest Of Driver: Police
Police say the driver jumped a curb, struck a brick column, another section of the building and a shrub.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police responded to the Children of America Day Care Center on Dec. 22 on a report of an accident.
According to police reports, the driver of a vehicle pulled too far forward into a parking spot and though she put the vehicle into reverse to correct the parking error. The vehicle was still in drive, though, so when she accelerated, she jumped a curb, struck a brick column, another section of the building and a shrub.
When police investigated, an officer reported that the diver had slurred speech, poor balance, and glassy eyes. According to reports, when questioned, the woman told police that she took Xanax earlier, but did not feel impaired. Police said they conducted field sobriety tests on the driver, which she did not pass.

Reports stated that the woman was taken into custody on suspicion of operating while intoxicated.
