Decision on Postal Facility Extension Delayed
Issue could come back to the council next month.

The Oak Creek Common Council on Tuesday night held off voting on a proposed memorandum of understanding on building a mail-processing facility at College and Pennsylvania.
Some issues still need to be worked out between the USPS, city and developer Colbalt Partners LLC, Oak Creek City Attorney Larry Haskin said. The MOU could come back to the council as early as Sept. 6.
The council approved plans for a mail-processing facility, at more than 800,000 square feet, back in 2008. But the postal service has been and unable to start construction.
