Democrats Eyeing Paul Ryan's Seat

DCCC chair says party has "excellent" challenger.

The chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, buoyed by a surprise victory in a New York special election on Tuesday, is focused on unseating U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, according to a report from the Huffington Post.

DCCC Chair Steve Israel said that Democratic challenger Rob Zerban is an "excellent candidate" and blasted Ryan's .

Ryan said today that "Washington has not been honest with you about Medicare," according to the story. Later, on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," he said that "having the ability to scare seniors is powerful."
