Disturbance at Oak Leaf Park

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police were called to Oak Leaf Park on the evening of Sep. 17 to break up an apparent conflict between an intoxicated man and other people in the park.

According to police reports, a person called 911 stating that a man had been beat up and an ambulance was requested.

Reports indicate that eyewitnesses said a man was being disorderly and harassing children at the park throughout the evening.

After a physical confrontation took place between the man and another adult in the park, police were called in an attempt to quell the situation.

The apparent victim and his mother sought a disorderly conduct charge against the suspect as police stepped in the gain control of the situation.
