OAK CREEK, WI β€” New streetscaping could be coming to Drexel Avenue soon. Initial concepts for the plan would line the streets with trees, shrubs and a new sign welcoming visitors.

The project plans were heard by the Oak Creek Plan Commission Tuesday. The project is currently in its early stages of planning, but the meeting gave a glimpse into what could eventually come.

Grasses and perennials would surround trees planted on the Drexel Avenue median, developers from GRAEF said during the meeting. The project aligns with a theme of "movement," Craig Huebener from GRAEF said during the meeting.
