Drexel Town Square Getting More Retail, New Hotel

WiRED Properties is adding three new retail buildings on Main Street

OAK CREEK — Three new retail buildings could be added to the Drexel Town Square development in Oak Creek as the property owner prepares to submit plans to the city.

According to a report by the Milwaukee Biz Times, WiRED properties, owners of the property between Sixth Street and the PetSmart property on Drexel Ave., have 60 days to submit the plans to city officials.

WiRED told the Biz Times they are not saying who the tenants would be, but is in the process of working on leasing and design phases.

Hotel Plans Changed, Approved

The Biz Times also reported that the Oak Creek plan commission approved site and building plans for a 112-room hotel at Drexel Town Square, saying the hotel was going to be a Four Points by Sheraton, but is now going to be TownePlace Suites by Marriott - a higher-end Marriott hotel.
