Drexel Town Square Hosting Second Annual Winterfest

Among the fun, Valentine Coffee will have warm drinks on-site and Cubanitas will be serving from their ice bar.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Oak Creek's second-annual Winterfest at Drexel Town Square will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. This free community event will feature ice carving demonstrations, a winter market, ice games and more.

With more than 25 winter-related vendors, attendees can shop the Winter Market and pick up goodies to take home. Vendors such as Apple Holler, Lampe Farms, Oberweis Dairy and WisConian Delectables will be on-site selling their best comfort foods.

Across from the market, The Friends of the Oak Creek Library will host a book sale and kid-friendly games will take place in the library.

Kristin Craig, Destination Marketing Specialist for the City of Oak Creek, is excited to bring even more interactive activities to the event: “New this year, we have horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo and slap shot hockey. Attendees can enjoy activities in the square or stop inside the Civic Center for even more fun! There is something for everyone to enjoy.

” Milwaukee Airwaves will DJ the event and attendees can grab a bite to eat from Milwaukee Pretzel Company, Juniors BBQ, The Gouda Girls, or one of the many great restaurants in Drexel Town Square. Valentine Coffee will have warm drinks on-site and Cubanitas will be serving from their ice bar.
