Driver Flees Police in Oak Creek At 120 Miles Per Hour

Just before midnight, an Oak Creek police officer attempted a traffic stop on the driver of a silver Buick Lacrosse.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the area of S. 13th St. and W. Rawson Ave. for a driver of a vehicle that drove through a red light at the intersection of Rawson Ave. and I-94.

On Sep. 22 just before midnight, an Oak Creek police officer attempted a traffic stop on the driver of a silver Buick Lacrosse.

According to reports, the officer stepped out of his squad car during the traffic stop, however during the course of the traffic stop the driver pulled away, made a U-turn onto S. 13th St. and headed northbound on I-94 at speeds greater than 120 miles per hour.

The pursuing officer terminated the pursuit just north of Ramsey and I-94.
