OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say a traffic stop for erratic driving resulted in much more, including drugs, guns, alcohol and a toddler who was not secured safely in the moving vehicle.

According to police reports, an officer on patrol on the night of March 18 stopped the driver of a vehicle on the 1700 block of W. Rawson Ave. after seeing that he was driving erratically with a toddler unrestrained inside the vehicle.

According to police reports, the officer pulled the driver over, and found that the cabin of the car smelled like marijuana. After a search, the officer found a half-full bottle of E&J inside the vehicle, as well as a digital scale with marijuana shake on it, 14 9 mm rounds in a plastic sandwich bag under the passenger seat and a .22 caliber Mossberg AR-15-style pistol with 24 .22 caliber rounds in the magazine located in the vehicle's trunk.

According to reports, the driver and a passenger both denied knowing anything about the gun or the scale.

Police said the driver was cited for having an open intoxicant inside the vehicle's cabin, possession of drug paraphernalia and was also issued a warning for vehicle non-registration.
