Drunk Driver Had 2 Pounds Of Marijuana In Car: Report
Police in Oak Creek say that a man sitting in an intersection for 10 minutes had more trouble after officers found marijuana in the car.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say a man stopped for drunk driving was later arrested on suspicion of drug charges after officers found nearly two pounds of marijuana in a backpack.
According to police reports, an officer was called to the area of S. 27th Street and W. Ryan Road just after 2 a.m. on March 18 on a report of a suspicious driver.
Reports stated that the driver of a white car, a 26-year-old Franklin man, had been sitting in the intersection for the last 10 minutes.

When a patrol officer stopped at the scene to see what was happening, the officer found that he had a half-full bottle of Hennessy on the passenger seat.
According to reports, the man failed standard field sobriety tests, and returned a 0.11 blood alcohol concentration on a preliminary breath test - greater than the legal limit for drunk driving in Wisconsin.

Police said he was cited for drunk driving, but also for a number of drug charges after officers say they found nearly two pounds of marijuana edibles inside a large backpack.
Reports stated they found a glass jar containing about 142 grams of marijuana, a vacuum-sealed bag with about 438 more grams of marijuana, a glass jar containing about 300 grams of marijuana and nine edible marijuana-laced Rice Krispie squares. The total weight of the marijuana and edibles was slightly more than 900 grams.
According to reports, he was arrested on suspicion of delivering marijuana - second offense.
