On August 17 from 7-9pm go behind the scenes at the Milwaukee Public Museum and see how it's done. The evening is the 3rd and final of the Inside Story series. Each evening in the series focuses on one of the museum's exhibits. This time, it's the Africal exhibits.
The Museum's African exhibits are some of the most spectacular in the building. They are also some of the most storied. Join MPM Taxidermist & Artist Wendy Christensen as she discusses the fascinating techniques employed by exhibit artists in bringing Museum dioramas to life. Wendy will reveal some bizarre museum history along the way – such as that fact that MPM’s exhibits staff once kept a pet lion on the Museum rooftop. Wow.
The Inside Story series is sponsored by Zilli’s Hospitality Group and the Milwaukee Cupcake Company.
