Classy blues that's rough around the edges is the muscial gem for the August 25 show at Boerner Gardens. That's when Robert Allen, Jr. performs his razor sharp solos with rocketing energy. As usual, if you get to Boerner after 6pm, admission is free. The concert starts at 6:30pm. Food and drink will be available for purchase on the grounds.

With his signature black hat, and suit, his eyes all but hidden behind bluesman sun glasses, his guitar named “Blondie” strapped over his shoulder, this is electric blues played with a ton of soul.
