September 15, the free concert series at South Milwaukee Market presents Roxie Bean. The show starts at 5:30pm; the Market opens at 3pm.
Roxie is a Milwaukee-based soloist who plays live acoustic rock, pop, and alternative jams. She was voted Female Vocalist and Acoustic Musician in the Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee 2008 poll.
For maximum enjoyment, you're asked to bring your own lawn chair. Come early (doors open at 3pm) and go shopping. There will be over 60 vendors on the grounds for the Market, selling everything from farm fresh food to natural products to arts and crafts.
