Experience Healing Through Unity At the WI Walk for Hope, A Memorial for Children Aug 13

The death of a child is a tragedy that leaves a permanent mark. 

If you've lost a child, young or old, recently or long ago, Hannahs' Hope Foundation and The Compassionate Friends wants you to know you are not alone.

The 2nd Annual Walk for Hope, A Memorial for Children is a community event sponsored by these two groups that is meant to help family members share their grief and healing.

This 5k (3.1 mile) walk is free and starts at 10:30 am Saturday August 13 at Veterans Park on the Milwaukee lakefront.

You can participate in pre-race activities such as a balloon launch and memorial button making if you come earlier.  Registration begins at 9am.  Food will be available.

there's free parking at Veterans Park, and paid parking at 875 East Wisconsin and at the O'donnell parking structure.
