Increase Your Fuel Economy at the Milwaukee Hybrid Group Meeting Aug 20

Lots on the schedule as the Milwaukee Hybrid Group reconvenes for the fall.  Many members attended the Green Drive Expo in Madison in July and will share their impressions.  There will be opportunity to test your knowledge about hybrid vehicles in a small group breakout session.  And you can help the club plan future events such as the annual Prius Electric Block Heater Install Party.

Good friends, good knowledge, good deals, good food and good training make this meeting a good way to spend your Saturday leisure time!

For first timers, here’s how it usually goes:

Gather in the Library parking lot about 9:15am to schmooze and show off vehicles. If the weather is good, we check VTP’s (Vehicle Tire Pressures) at that time.

Room set-up at 10:00am.  Introductions begin at 10:20 via either a round robin or a “Fuel for Thought” quiz.

Meeting and then break for pot luck lunch at about 12:00 pm. After lunch, there are Drive Smart sessions.  Note:  the agenda doesn’t always go this way, so your flexible attitude is a must bring.

Beverages and utensils will be supplied but you are encouraged to bring something to share, especially a main dish.

The MHG meets are a great way to get real life information and experience on fuel economy.  You can also win prizes and get good deals on products.
