Wine Tasting at the South Milwaukee Library Saturday, Oct 13

This year, the South Milwaukee Public Library Foundation's Wine Tasting and Silent Auction features about 10 Wisconsin made wines for your palate.  The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 13, from 7 - 9:30 pm.  Tickets are $20, and you can purchase them in advance at the library or at Parkway Floral.  You can also pay at the door.

About the Wine Tasting

Once in the door, you can drink all the wine you like.  As this year's theme is Wisconsin wine, you can bet that most or all of the samples are from the area.  (Every year there's a different theme.)  The library is also serving  cheese, crakers and sausages.  Live music will be provided by The Garlic Mustard Pickers.

The items for the silent auction will be on display two weeks ahead of the event, beginning September 30. During that time, you can visit the library during open hours to browse and make your decisions.  The bidding will close on October 15,  2 days after the event.  Winners will be notified the following Monday, by telephone.

Your Tax Deductible Contributions

All proceeds from the event go to keep the South Milwaukee Public Library going.  The Library Foundation is a 501c3 (not-for-profit), which means your purchases and donations is still taking donations so feel free to swing by with yours.
