Young Writers and Illustrators Workshop

This FREE workshop is designed for children grades 1,2,3 and their parents and teachers. Participants will learn the basics of story construction and the importance of illustrations in telling the story.

Children will be encouraged to create a story and enter it in MPTV's 17th. annual PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest. MPTV's Supervisor of Outreach Services and writing contest coordinator, Darlyne Haertlein will conduct the workshop. Participants will be able to see books that have received awards in previous years. 

Registration is required. Space is limited. (Parents who accompany children in the workshop must also register due to limited seating.)
