Fatal Motorcycle Crash Ends In Fire: Oak Creek Police Department

A motorcycle crashed into an SUV Sunday night. One person died and another was brought to the hospital.

OAK CREEK, WI — A motorcycle crashed into the back of an SUV near the 10800 block of 13th Street Sunday, leaving one dead and both vehicles on fire, according to a news release from the Oak Creek Police Department.

The motorcycle, which was headed southbound, hit the rear of the car causing both vehicles to light on fire, the news release said. Police said they believe speed is a reason for the crash. One person was discovered dead on the scene. The other person, a 31-year-old man, was sent to Froedtert Hospital.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. Sunday. The accident is under investigation by the Oak Creek Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol and Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
