Father Of Meijer Theft Suspect Can't Find Her Either: Police

Police say a woman who stole $457.13 worth of alcohol, cologne, and deodorant from the Oak Creek Meijer has so far been elusive.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the Meijer at 171 W. Town Square Way just after 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3 on a report of a retail theft.

According to police reports, officers were shown store security footage showing a theft suspect walking out of the store with $457.13 worth of alcohol, cologne, and deodorant that they did not pay for.

Reports stated that the suspects, a man, and a woman, left in a blue Jeep Liberty that had a getaway driver waiting for them as they exited the store.

Police obtained the vehicle's license plate number which tracked the vehicle's registered owner to an address in Milwaukee. Police in Oak Creek reached out to Milwaukee police regarding the suspects. Milwaukee police told authorities in Oak Creek that they made contact with the father of the woman suspected in the crime, who told officers that he had no idea where she was, and hadn't seen her.
