First Responders Revive Fallen Worker in Oak Creek

Upon the arrival of police, the man's lips were turning purple as he lay on the ground.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek first responders managed to revive a worker who had lost his pulse while he was on the job at the Zierden Co. on S. 1st St.

According to police reports, multiple people placed an emergency call just after 10 a.m. on Sep. 16 after a male employee reportedly passed out and struck his head. Upon the arrival of police, the man's lips were turning purple as he lay on the ground.

CPR was started immediately and Oak Creek Fire Department responders were able to enact further lifesaving measures in order to regain a pulse.

According to the report, the man had told others that he had been battling his allergies and was drinking a lot of water to stay hydrated.

The report states that the man fell from a standing position, and likely struck his head on a large metal item that was being worked on in the business.

After he was revived, the man was transported to St. Luke's for further treatment.
