Florida Duo Caught In Mass ID Theft Scheme In Oak Creek: Report
Police in Oak Creek say they replaced the suspects' bag of stolen IDs with a decoy bag when they weren't looking.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek Police say they arrested a Florida crime duo, accused systematically stealing credit cards, drivers licenses and personal checks from guests staying at the Oak Creek Mainstay Inn.
Desmond S. Bullock, 19, of Hallandale Beach, Florida and Darrin L. Green, 20, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit unauthorized use of personal IDs.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, both Bullock and Green were caught by police after a Mainstay Inn employee saw one of the two Floridians stuffing a plastic bag underneath a shed on Feb. 20. He went to investigate, and to his surprise found a plastic bag containing a cache of credit cards, driver's licenses and personal checks inside.

He called police, who determined that the items were from victims of car break-ins where their purses or wallets were stolen while they stayed at he Mainstay Inn, according to police.
Police set to catch Bullock and Green, who were still unknown to them at the time of the discovery. According to the criminal complaint, police put a decoy bag back under the shed and waited for the two suspects to reappear.

On Feb. 22, police say Bullock and Green returned to the shed in a gray van. An employee on the hotel grounds saw the van arrive, only to have a man step out and begin frantically digging under the shed.
According to the complaint, the man retrieved the bag, got back into the van and headed for I-94. The Wisconsin State Patrol tracked down the van in Kenosha County, where Bullock and Green were caught with the decoy bag.
When police investigated further, officers say that the co-conspirators used the stolen credit cards and checks in North Carolina, Wyoming, Kansas, Texas, Iowa, New Jersey and Colorado. Court records also showed that Bullock was wanted in Pennsylvania for identity theft and possession of stolen property. Green was wanted in North Carolina for multiple vehicle break-ins.
Bullock and Green are both currently being held in the Milwaukee County Jail on a $15,000 cash bond.
