Franklin Walmart Bomb Threat Fizzles: Report
Police evacuated the Franklin Walmart and Sam's Club on Tuesday night on a report of a man with a bomb vest.

FRANKLIN, WI -- Police in Franklin say that a man reported to have a bomb vest attached to his chest never entered the 27th Street Walmart Tuesday night.
The West Allis Police Department initially took a report of a man in his 20s who had a bomb vest strapped to his chest. Police said they were able to track the man to the Walmart on S. 27th Street in Franklin just after 7:20 p.m.
West Allis police alerted police in Franklin, who responded to the area, set up a perimeter and evacuated the Walmart and adjoining Sam's Club.

Officials called in bomb-sniffing dogs from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department, however did not find anything. According to police, authorities searched the area that night, and were not able to find him until about 1:50 a.m. when officers found him in West Allis.
The stores were turned back over to management following the bomb scare, police said.

Police say the man is currently being held in the Milwaukee County Jail, and is awaiting charges.
