Fundraiser Being Held This Weekend For Oak Creek Community Center

OAK CREEK, WI — The Oak Creek Community Center is counting down the days to its upcoming Raise The Roof Fundraiser that will benefit the community center's roof, HVAC system and more.

The event will feature a beer garden, food catering and live entertainment, according to a Facebook post from the Oak Creek Community Center. The event will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday at 8580 South Howell Avenue in Oak Creek. The event is free.

A beer garden will open at 1 p.m. Live music from the Larry Lynne Band will happen from 2-5 p.m., followed by music from CLOVE from 7:30-11 p.m.

Kings Catering will offer food at the event. A cash bar will be open with craft beer and raffles will be held throughout the night, according to the post from the community center.

The fundraiser will benefit the community center. A new roof, new HVAC units and other repairs are needed on the OCCC building, the community center said.
