Greenfield Police Catch Oak Creek Kohl's Shoplifters: Report

After two straight days of shoplifting sprees in Oak Creek, police say a group of three women didn't get away with a third try in Greenfield

OAK CREEK, WI -- Three women accused of stealing more than $5,000 in goods from the Oak Creek Kohl's Department Store was caught by Greenfield police later in the week, police in Oak Creek say.

According to Oak Creek police reports, a group of three women entered the Kohl's in Oak Creek at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 and stole about $1,400 worth of Nike and Adidas clothing and ran out the store without paying.

Police in Oak Creek said the same three women were at it again the next day when they gathered about $3,900 worth of Nike and Adidas clothing and ran out of the store into a an older-model beige vehicle with not registration plates.

The group wouldn't get away with it a third time, according to reports. On Wednesday, Jan. 23, the same group attempted a theft at the Greenfield Kohl's Department Store, but as the women were fleeing the scene, Greenfield police were reportedly waiting for them in the parking lot and took them all into custody.
