Ground Broken on Oak Creek's Marriott TownePlace Suites Hotel Project

According to city officials, it will be a, 112-room extended stay hotel located east of the public square.

OAK CREEK -- The Oak Creek plan commission approved site and building plans for a 112-room hotel at Drexel Town Square in April, saying the hotel was going to be a Four Points by Sheraton, but was now going to be TownePlace Suites by Marriott - a higher-end Marriott hotel.

Fast forward four months into the future into this week, where Oak Creek officials officially broke ground on the TownPlace suites project.

According to city officials, it will be a, 112-room extended stay hotel located east of the public square. It will feature suites with full-size kitchens and in-room workstations, as well as an indoor pool and fitness center.

Designed by Milwaukee architect Kahler Slater, the hotel will be non-traditional and progressive, it's architecture complimenting the rest of the Drexel Town Square development., city officials said.
