Gun Stolen In Shepard Ave. Burglary: Report
An Oak Creek homeowner says his handgun was stolen after a suspect broke into two vehicles.

OAK CREEK, WI -- An Oak Creek homeowner says his handgun was stolen after a suspect broke into two vehicles on his property in an overnight burglary.
According to Oak Creek police reports, officers were dispatched to investigate the burglary case at just after 6 a .m. on Jan. 3 in the 8400 block of S. Shepard Ave.
Police say they learned that a Glock G19 handgun valued at $500 was stolen from inside one of the vehicles, and that the theft likely occurred between 6 p.m and 6 a.m.

There was no damage to either vehicle, according to police reports. Police also say there was no serial number available to track down the gun.
