Guns Found On Construction Site Turned In To Police: Police

Reports indicated the construction worker found them on the work site, however, could not track down their rightful owner.

OAK CREEK, WI — A cache of guns is currently being stored at the Oak Creek Police Department after a concerned construction worker found them on a construction site, police are reporting.

According to police reports, a worker with Kaerek Homes working on a construction site in Caledonia on Lily Drive found a gun case containing the following items: a Thompson Center Arms .50 caliber black powder scoped rifle, a Power Master 760 BB Repeater .177 and a Daily No. 102 Model 36 and a BB pump-action repeater.

Reports indicated the construction worker found them on the work site, however could not track down their rightful owner. The worker brought the items to Oak Creek police to be secured. Management posted a sign at the construction site, in which more than 20 subcontractors work, advising workers that the guns are at the Oak Creek Police Department for safekeeping.
