Halloween Trick Or Treat Date In Oak Creek And Safety Tips

The Halloween Safe Site will also be set up for Oak Creek's 2021 trick or treat on Oct. 31.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek's 2021 trick or treat has been scheduled to take place 4-7 p.m. on Oct. 31.

The Halloween Safe Site will also return in 2021, according to the city's website. The safe site is located on Oak Creek Historical Society's grounds at the corner of 15th Avenue and Forest Hill Avenue. Kids will be able to explore the historical society ground to learn about the history of Oak Creek while also getting in their fill of trick or treat.

Oak Creek's Halloween Safe Site is planned for Oct. 31, 4-6 p.m.

For some municipalities last year, the annual Halloween celebration was subject to cancelation and uncertainty because of the pandemic. Many of 2020's celebrations still took place, but a year later and the pandemic is still on.

Trick-or-treaters can take some preventative measures against COVID-19 for the occasion. Here are some tips from the CDC for a safe trick or treat:

  • Wear a mask. Costume masks are not a substitute for other masks. Masks should not be worn by those under two.
  • Wash your hands and sanitize them in between houses.
  • Stay six feet away from anyone who doesn't live with you.
