Hangry McDonald's Customer Tried Paying $12 Order In Change: Cops
Police in Oak Creek say an unruly McDonald's customer isn't allowed back at the restaurant after he tried paying for his $12 order in change

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say an unruly McDonald's drive-thru customer was not allowed to get his dinner after he reportedly tried paying for his $12 order in change.
According to Oak Creek police reports, officers were called to the McDonald's on the 9700 block of S. 13th Street just after 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 30 on a report of an unruly customer.
McDonald's employees told police that a man in the drive-thru was yelling at employees, and had thrown change at them after he ordered about $12 in food, and tried to pay in almost all change, according to reports.

Police said that the customer did not wait for the change to be counted at the payment window and drove forward to the pick-up window. When McDonald's staff did manage to count all the change - it wasn't enough, and that he still owed about $2.
When the customer was informed that he needed more money, the customer became upset and began to shout profanities at restaurant staff, police said.

When police arrived, they learned that McDonald's staff gave the customer his money back and informed him that he would not be getting any food, according to reports.
According to Oak Creek police, the change-laden and hungry customer drove off, but officers tracked him down a short time later, at which point the driver and passenger were informed that they were no longer welcome at the Oak Creek McDonald's.
