Healthcare Training Grant Opportunities
WOW Workforce Development Board offering support to individuals pursuing a career as a CNA through HPOG.

The Waukesha-Ozaukee-Washington Workforce Development Board is currently recruiting individuals now through April 2015 who are pursuing vocational studies for a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Healthcare careers are in demand and there is a need for trained and skilled individuals to enter the workforce. The Health Profession Opportunity Grant (HPOG) offers:
- Paid Certified Nursing Assistant training
- Assistance with books, fees, supplies, uniforms or tools
- Career coaching, job preparation, job search assistance and more!
CNA students will learn basic nursing tasks for caring for patients in hospitals, long-term care facilities and homes in just 120 hours (about 2 weeks). Specific skills taught include: medically oriented tasks, personal care, mobility, maintaining a safe environment and more!
