High School Fight Started Over Sweater: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the Oak Creek High School's ninth-grade center just after 5 p.m. on April 20 on a report of a battery.

According to police reports, a parent called the police, stating that her daughter was jumped at school that afternoon prior to getting on the bus.

Reports stated that the woman's daughter and another girl got into an argument two days prior to a sweatshirt. On April 20, when the girl was walking to her bus, reports stated that the other girl grabbed her by her hair and began punching her on the right side of her head, causing redness to her temple, leaving marks and also a headache.

Reports indicated that the girl's parents alerted school administrators of the conflict, who proceeded to start a school investigation.
