HOT DOG! Portillo's Coming to Brookfield This Summer

BROOKFIELD — Pardon the pun, but in the land where people put ketchup on their hot dogs, here's some news that all hot dog aficionados will relish.

According to a report by the Milwaukee Business Journal, this summer, Wisconsin residents will no longer have to trek across the Illinois border to get their hands on a Portillo's hot dog.

Chicago's iconic hot dog chain is planning to open its first Wisconsin location in Brookfield in mid-July and is currently looking to hire 200 employees, Nick Scarpino, vice president of marketing for Portillo’s told the Business Journal.
