A June incident at Bender Park left resulted in police being called and a jet ski resting damaged at the bottom of Lake Michigan.

OAK CREEK, WI -- A June incident at Bender Park left resulted in police being called and a jet ski resting damaged at the bottom of Lake Michigan.
According to police call logs, officers responded to Bender Park just before 5 p.m. on June 27 on a report of a water-related incident.
Police said an officer on patrol at Bender Park had a person approach him, saying that one person was injured during a collision between two jet skis out on the lake.

According to call logs, a 21-year-old Milwaukee man was driving a jet ski immediately behind a 29-year-old man from Kenosha.
As the story was told by both jet ski riders, one jet ski turned in front of the other, resulting in the trailing jet ski to strike the other in the side. The jet ski that was struck in its side sunk to the bottom of the lake and the other jet ski suffered bow damage, police said.

Police said one person suffered a minor ankle injury and did not require medical attention.
When police questioned other members of the group that was down at Bender Park, police learned that both jet ski riders were warned multiple times that they were riding too close to one another.
