Man Lays On Tow Truck To Avoid Car Tow: Police

When the tow truck operator began to hook up the vehicle, the man came out of the apartment

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek are reporting that they cited a man for reckless driving following an incident with a B&B Towing tow truck driver.

According to police reports, B&B Towing asked the police to respond to the 7900 block of S. Wildwood Drive just before 7 p.m. on the 15th, after a man was trying to get out of having his car towed.

Reports stated that the man's vehicle was illegally parked outside. When the tow truck operator began to hook up the vehicle, the man came out of the apartment and began arguing with him over the two.

Reports indicated that the man then got into his vehicle and drove over sidewalks in order to evade being towed, stating that he had to be at the hospital shortly to help translate for a patient there.

According to police reports, the man got out of his car, and at some point laid on top of the tow truck to prevent his vehicle from being towed.
