Man Shot On Oakwood Road: Oak Creek Police Department

OAK CREEK, WI — A man was shot in the 900 block of Oakwood Road Monday night. He suffered minor injuries and the shooting is still under investigation, according to the Oak Creek Police Department.

The victim, a 31-year-old man, suffered two gunshot wounds, according to a news release from the Department. The injuries were non-life-threatening and the victim was brought to the hospital by the Oak Creek Fire Department.

Police said the incident is isolated. The cause for the shooting is under investigation, according to the news release.

In a Facebook Oak Creek community forum, one resident who lives near 900 Oakwood Road said he got a call on his landline Monday night telling him to stay indoors.
