Man's Middle Finger 'Amputated By Truck'
Police responded to the 10800 block of S. 13th St. just before noon on Aug. 30 on a report that a man had his middle finger amputated.

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek police responded to the 10800 block of S. 13th St. just before noon on Aug. 30 on a report that a man had his middle finger amputated by a truck.
According to police reports, officers and rescue responded to PPG Industries for the apparent injures. An officer reported speaking with personnel at Froedtert, who stated the man was in a semi-trailer attempting to move a drum barrel.
The man was transported by Oak Creek fire to Froedtert for treatment.

Reports indicate when the man tilted the drum barrel to its side to move it over, the barrel went back down, at which point his left middle finger got caught between the barrel and another barrel in the truck.
