Marijuana Smoker Has Officer Pull Up Next To Her: Report

Police in Oak Creek say a marijuana user was in the wrong place at the wrong time and that it led to an immediate traffic stop.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek say a marijuana user was in the wrong place at the wrong time when an officer pulled alongside them at a red light.

According to Oak Creek police logs, an officer on patrol in the 600 block of W. Drexel Ave. on the morning of May 11 pulled up to the light at W. Sixth Street and W. Drexel Ave. and saw a woman smoking marijuana out of a glass pipe while seated in the car in the next lane.

Police said the officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The officer located the pipe on the woman's lap along with a grinder also inside the car's cabin.

Police said that the woman was cited for driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
