Meetings Will Discuss Future of Delphi, Civic Center Sites
City plans public meeting for April 27.

Officials have scheduled two public workshops on April 27 to help plan the future of the old Delphi site, 7929 S. Howell Ave., as well the existing Oak Creek Civic Center, 8640 S. Howell Ave.
In a news release, officials say they want to gather input on what the community wants to see at both of those properties. A project team will then prepare site concepts, which will be brought back to the public at a later meeting.
One meeting will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and another from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 8640 S. Howell Ave.

A short presentation by the city's consultant, Graef, will explain the planning process. A series of table-top exercises, where participants can share their ideas on how the properties might be redeveloped, will follow the presentation.
However, space is tight at that exercise and may be limited to the first 20 people who RSVP, according to the news release. If you are interested in actively participating in the table-top exercise, call (414) 768-6527 or e-mail mwoolford@oakcreekwi.org.

The 6 p.m. meeting is also open to the public, but the table-top exercise then will be limited to project stakeholders, according to the news release.
