Middle School Students Busted For Bathroom-Vaping THC: Report

OAK CREEK, WI -- Police in Oak Creek a middle school student was arrested after authorities found that he had been using a vape device in the school bathroom to ingest marijuana.

According to Oak Creek police logs, officers responded to the Oak Creek East Middle School just after 11 a.m. on May 23. Police said school administration suspected that a group of boys was using a vape device in the eighth-grade boys bathroom earlier that day.

Police say officers reviewed hallway camera footage and searched the boys that were suspected of using the vape device. According to police call logs, an officer located a vape device in the pants pocket of one of the boys following a search. When police tested the device, officers said it tested positive for THC.

Police say the boy was transported to the Oak Creek police department where he was booked and cited for possession of marijuana. He was turned over to his dad and the vape device was confiscated.
